New York City:

True about what they say about this city, is that it's loud and in your face! Although that is the essence of what makes this city so full of life. New York consists of five very diverse boroughs: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island. All of them are so different, beginning with the culture, the background, architecture, accents and best of all the locals. Brooklyn especially has got one of the most interesting native locals of all boroughs. Spark up a conversation with one of the Ray's Pizza owners (which are almost in every other block and b.t.w not a franchise), it will almost make you feel like you're on the set of Goodfellas 2, the accent really stands out, making it so "street" and raw. Hop on the Q train from Brooklyn to the city for just $2, or if be smart and buy an unlimited daily metro-card for $7.50 and explore the city's underground mayhem. Transfer to a "1" train and get off at the Upper West Side (72nd street) book a ticket at the Met and experience an exhilarating Opera show. After some cultural excitement, walk east and cross the notorious Central Park, check out NYC's very limited botanical escape, and make sure not to forget your camera, because you might run into jogging- junkie Madonna. After a cross town, grab the most delicious authentic Italian pizza at Patty's Gourmet Pizzeria. Upper East Side offers exquisite High End retail stores, such as Bloomingdale's, Barney's, and 5th avenue's most famous european designers from Chanel to Diesel.

Start fresh the next day and hit Midtown, where the most iconic architectural buildings stand tall. Get off on 42nd street and check out Times Square, even though its the most overrated tourist attraction in NYC, yet its worth seeing at least once. If you get too agoraphobic in heart of big apple, then head down, and check out Empire State building for $20 and see the bird's (more like nasty pigeons) view of the entire city. Despite New York's interesting attractions, this awesome city has the best nightlife out there. Dress to Impress for Meatpacking district, and get ready to slaughter some poultry, but seriously this neighborhood caters posh clubbers, the metropolitan elites, hipsters, and anyone's who's down to max out their credit card. If you're in the mood for a little Rock 'N Roll, hit East Village and check out the famous Bowery, where CBGB once stood. Unfortunately the club doesn't riot there anymore, but you could always use an extra cardigan from John Varvatos, who bought the the little history back a couple of years ago. From East Houston, SOHO, to Essex, there are countless amount of clubs, pubs and lounges all spin music from punk, electro, indie, jazz, to underground minimal techno.
